Rosie and Rafi are Jewish children growing up in 21st century America. With the help of their parents, Jewish Deena and non-Jewish Phillip, they learn how to manage problems such as loss or  jealousy and, in so doing, grow more independent, develop their own Jewish identities, and learn skills that enable them to manage the world in which they live.

The debut Rosie&Rafi story, A Tree for Tu b’Shevat, shows how the family works together as they cope with death and life.
